Blood Pressure Monitor / Depressor Usage Insturction

You can be seated or supine for treatment. If seated, put your hands on your thigh or on the table naturally with your palms facing down and arms relaxed. Close your eyes and breathe naturally and then enjoy the feeling of the whole relaxation of your body. If supine, put your arms down naturally. Best time for treatment is between 7 am and 9 am or 4 pm and 6 pm. Don't use the device within one hour before going to sleep.

It is suggested to down load and view the blood pressure depressor instruction video AFTER reading the verb instruction for better understanding.

1. Clean the area of acupoints involved namely, Neiguan in your wrist and ErBeiGou with alcohol or warm water. If the area is already cleaned up in a daily shower, alcohol or warm water clean is not necessary but moist the area could be helpful to increase the conductivity. Neiguan (means inner pass acupoint) is about 2.5 inches above your wrist transverse, between musculus palmaris longus and musculus flexor carpi radialis (between the two tendons).
ErBeiGou (means the grove in the back of ear) is the groove running at the back of the ear and towards the top of ears.

You can have electrode on both ear and wrist holding strap or on single ear and wrist. In case of single ear stimulation, the wrist strap should be on the same side of the body. Clip the electrode/s onto the ear/s position in the groove/s as shown above. Fasten the wrist holding strap onto the wrist with the treatment plug contacting the NeiGuan acupoint closely.
The treatment plug shall contact the acupoint closely. Ensure the electrodes do not shift from the acupoints as illustrated earlier for best results. 2. Insert the jack of the treatment clipper into the treatment socket in the base unit. Place the base unit nearby during depressurization treatment.
Remark: Place the blood pressure monitor unit nearby and not to wear it during the treatment process.

3. Turn the unit on by pressing the ON/OFF key, press the mode key to select the DEPR function, and press OPER key for depressurization treatment while system is in command waiting status. A count down time would be displayed indication the time remaining for depressurization treatment with a moving bar indication treatment status.

4. The depressurization treatment duration can be set from 5 to 30 minutes in steps of 5 minutes. The treatment duration can be selected to suit individual needs. Normally 10 or 15 minutes treatment duration twice daily should be sufficient. For duration setting, each pressing of the OPER key increases the depressurization in steps of 5 minutes.
Remark: The system starts the depressurization automatically about 2 seconds after duration setting. Press the OPER key anytime to reset the treatment duration during the treatment process. Pressing the MODE key during depressurization for any other function would interrupt the treatment.

5. By the end of treatment, the buzzer will beep and symbol 0 (zero) will appear on the screen. In case you desire to repeat the treatment, press the OPER key to set the duration and the system will the depressurization treatment in 2 seconds. Alternatively, press MODE key to select any other functions or press ON/OFF button to turn of the unit. Carefully remove the electrodes and clean the contact point up with ethyl alcohol after each use to maintain the conductivity. Rub your hands till they feel warm and gently knead your face and neck. Rest for few minutes after finish treatment.

6. Generally, both systolic blood pressure and diastolic will descend to some degree each time of usage. The results fluctuate at the beginning but will cumulate to a significant value of 10-30 mm Hg for systolic and 5-15 mm Hg for diastolic. The depressurization process is a complex pathological process and related to numerous factors. Due to variation in body condition, psychological state, blood pressure levels, and medical history, the effect of depressurization treatment will vary among individuals. For some customers, there could be no noticeable reduction or in fact there could even be a slight increase initially. However, this is normal and satisfactory results would be achieved over a period of treatment.
Remark: Please do not measure your blood pressure immediately upon finishing the treatment, as your body is still adjusting the blood pressure and the reading is probably not stable. Measure your blood pressure at least half an hour after completing the depressurization. Please measure your blood pressure every alternate day even after it has returned to normal after the depressurization treatment and use again when ever there is a increase in blood pressure.
